What should I wear when out dog walking?
In summertime when temperatures are over 20 degrees C, then there is not a lot to worry about – shorts and t-shirt are order of the day. However, in colder times of the year layers, hats and gloves become essential to the dog walker. A hat is essential to keeping in body heat, and gloves are desirable.
When the days are short the light may be poorer and it is advisable to wear a reflective vest or sash and add reflective tape to your jacket. A good source for these is the biking section of a sports store.
